The Arrow

The Arrow – (our logo)

Many people have the feeling, now that they come to the end of the road, that nothing works and that it doesn’t matter how much you try …

Some ney-sayers take look for comfort and the benefit of saying “it was better before” or “everything is becoming worse and worse.” That approach is contrary to both reason and emotion. There was no better before, millions of people fought year in and year out to improve their situation, no matter of whether we mean the purely personal goals in life or business you work in. It would be strange, if not incomprehensible, if all these people’s aspirations led to everything becoming worse!?

The arrow suggests a different solution – it’s the world, the game plan, the conditions which suddenly turns the other way. Call it the exodus from the knowledge society and globalization, individualization, or call it environmentalist – the effect is the same, the world doesn’t behave as we are used to.

Those who work the hardest according to the old formula continue with high speed in the same direction as before, so they are the little arrow straight up. To their despair they discover two things: First, they seem to reach something that almost resembles the edge of a the road. Secondly it seems that someone else, with minimum effort and absolutely no experience, reaches incomprehensible success of one’s own home court (the little arrow that flies from left to right).

Whether we’re talking about Ericsson vs. Nokia, or SAS vs. Ryan Air the image of it brings us to the same conclusion: We must find out why – and where, the world turns. Otherwise we will be doomed to a dreary one way trip to destination periphery.
